Men’s Hoops 10th in Final D3hoops Top-25

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The final top-25 poll of the 2024-25 season was unveiled by D3hoops.com Monday evening, March 24, with the Illinois Wesleyan University men's basketball team slotted 10th. The Titans accrued 373 points and were the lone College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin school to make the top-25.

Illinois Wesleyan posted a 24-6 overall record and advanced to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2022. The Green and White claimed the CCIW Tournament Championship and recorded five wins over teams listed in the final rankings (No. 4 WashU, No. 9 UW-Platteville, No. 13 St. John's, No. 23 Chicago, and No. 25 Cal Lutheran).

The 2024-25 season saw seniors Nick Roper (St. Louis, Mo.-MICDS), Hakim Williams (Round Lake, Ill.-Round Lake), and Harrison Wilmsen (St. Louis, Mo.-Priory) garner All-CCIW honors. Roper and Williams were first team picks, while Wilmsen was a second team selection. Roper and Williams also reeled in D3hoops All-Region status. Freshman Josh Fridman (Northbrook, Ill.-Glenbrook North) was voted the CCIW Newcomer of the Year, D3hoops Region 8 Rookie of the Year, and the D3hoops National Rookie of the Year following an outstanding freshman season.
