BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - A trio of College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin wins moved the Illinois Wesleyan University men's basketball team up to No. 6 in the week 10 D3hoops.com Top-25 announced Monday, Feb. 14. The Titans received 497 points in the poll.
Randolph-Macon continued its hold on the top spot with 625 points and all 25 first-place votes. Marrietta, UW-Oshkosh, and Christopher Newport also maintained their spots at No. 2, No. 3, and No. 4, respectively. Just ahead of IWU, St. Joseph (Conn.) climbed one spot to round out the top-five. IWU was joined by CCIW foes Wheaton (No. 11) and Elmhurst (No. 15) in the top-25.
The Titans earned wins over North Park, Millikin, and Wheaton, Feb. 7-12, to clinch at least a share of the CCIW Regular Season title. Illinois Wesleyan boasts a 19-4 overall record, along with a 12-2 CCIW mark.
The Green and White wrap up the home portion of its regular season Wednesday, Feb. 14, with a 7 p.m. tipoff against North Central College.
