BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team continues College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin play Saturday, Oct. 10 in Chicago. The Titans (6-0-5, 2-0-1 CCIW) face off against North Park University (4-6-2, 1-1-1 CCIW) at Holmgren Athletic Complex with kickoff slated for 1 p.m.

The Titans grabbed their first road win of the season Wednesday, Oct. 7 against Elmhurst University. IWU was up early over the Bluejays 1-nil in the first half, thanks to senior Sophie Lampert (Hudson, Ill.-Normal West). Junior Liza Wiley (Bloomington, Ind.-Home School) gave the Green and White a 2-nil lead in the 62nd minute in the second half to notch her fifth goal of the season. Elmhurst would put itself on the board in the 72nd minute to bring the contest 2-1.

The Titans have yet to drop a contest this season with a road record of 1-0-5. IWU has found itself in the top-50 in the nation in total assists (23) with the help of junior Taylor Haun (Metamora, Ill.-Metamora Township) and classmate Ellen Dahlquist (Peoria, Ill.-Peoria Notre Dame). Haun has put up six assists, assisting in both goals from Wednesday night's contest. Haun sits 24th in the nation and is the overall leader in the CCIW with a .667 average of assists per game. Dahlquist follows closely behind with five assists, good for a tie for second in the CCIW and 43rd in the nation.

The Titans hold the all-time series over North Park with a 27-5 record and 14-3 away stamp. However, in IWU's last two meetings with NPU, the Vikings took home a pair of wins, a 2-nil win in 2024 at Holmgren Athletic Complex and a 4-2 win in Bloomington at Neis Field in 2025. North Park's Sofia Svensson leads the team with six goals, one assist and 13 points. While goalkeeper Makenna Harvey is top of the CCIW in saves with 68.

Illinois Wesleyan is set for a 1 p.m. kickoff with the men's contest following. Live coverage of the events can be found at iwusports.com.
