BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's bowling team is set for its second tournament of the season at the Midwest Division III Round Up, Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 17-18, in Waukegan, Ill. Bowlers will hit the lanes at 11:30 a.m. both days from Bertrand Lanes.

The two-day tournament, hosted by Carthage and Augustana, opens with five traditional games Saturday. Sunday begins at 8:10 a.m. with four matches of five baker games. After the baker format concludes, the tournament will reseed based on prior results. The championship session will begin at 1:30 p.m. with one position round of best of five baker games. Teams competing this weekend consist of Augustana, Carroll, Edgewood, Marian, Aurora, Carthage, Rockford, Elmhurst, and MSOE.

The Titans are coming off the Columbia 300 Western Shootout where they snagged two top-25 finishes. Making their collegiate debuts, freshmen Morgan Robinson (Morton, Ill.-Morton) came in seventh and Annalyse Johnson (Arlington Heights, Ill.-Hersey) finished 25th. Robinson rolled three games over 200 including a career-best 246. Johnson joined Robinson with three 200 games with her career-best of 221. It's the first time the program has seen two Titans finish in the top-25 in any tournament. As a team, Illinois Wesleyan fell just outside of the top-20 at 21st.

The two also land in the top-35 nationally in the United States Bowling Congress in traditional average through six games. Robinson is eighth overall and the top rookie bowler with her 203 average. Johnson's 193.167 average is 33rd and eighth out of rookies.
