BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - At the team's annual end-of-year banquet, team awards and letter winners for the Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team were announced. For the second straight season, sophomore Amber Ehrlich (Springfield, Ill.-Glenwood) was named the team's Most Valuable Player. Completing his third season as the leader of the program, head coach Jason Van Heukon awarded letters to all nine members of the team. 

Earning her second All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Second Team honor of her career, Ehrlich once again led the team at the No. 1 singles and doubles spot throughout the year. Appearing in all 20 dual matches, as well as the ITA Regional Tournament, Ehrlich recorded an overall singles record of 9-12, 3-5 in CCIW action, including a 9-10 mark in the top individual spot. Playing all matches in the No. 1 doubles spot, and all but one alongside fellow sophomore Olivia Bell (Bloomington, Ill.-Bloomington), Ehrlich racked up an overall record of 13-8, 3-5 in CCIW action, in doubles play, and was 12-8 with Bell. 

Senior Andie Wilson (Champaign, Ill.-Centennial) rang in the team's Most Improved Player award in her final season donning the Green and White. From helping revamp the program alongside Van Heuklon as a sophomore, Wilson showed great strides during her senior season. The Champaign, Ill. native appeared in 11 dual matches, and recorded an overall record of 3-4 in singles competition, including two wins at No. 5 singles.  She posted a 3-6 record in doubles action, playing all matches in the No. 3 doubles spot. 

After tying for the most wins since the 2012-13 campaign, finishing with an overall record of 8-12, head coach Jason Van Heuklon returns seven of his nine letterwinners for the 2025-26 campaign.
