BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan University track and field teams are set to compete at the NCAA Division III Track and Field Outdoor Championships at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio this Thursday-Saturday, May 22-24. The Titans will have representation in seniors Carlyssa King (Decatur, Ill.-Forsyth-Maroa) and Lauren Huber (Lombard, Ill.-Glenbard East), juniors Evan Lowder (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community) and Adriana Crabtree (Normal, Ill.-University High), and sophomore Imani Ogunribido (Hanover Park, Ill.-Lake Park)

Huber will kick off the weekend's events in the women's heptathlon with competition set to begin Thursday, May 22, at 12:30 p.m. ET. This weekend marks the first NCAA track and field appearance for Huber, with the senior coming in as the No. 11 seed. Huber posted a heptathlon score of 4821 points back in April to earn her spot at the national meet. The Lombard, Ill. native will be one of three College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin student-athletes competing in the heptathlon as she is joined by Thea Ring of North Park University and Faith Ladin of North Central College.

King will make her third national appearance whether indoor or outdoor with this weekend marking her second straight season qualifying for the hammer throw. King enters the national meet as the No. 11 seed after her school record toss of 53.94m (177'0") earned her a spot on the national stage. The hammer throw is set to compete Saturday at 11 a.m. ET, and will feature two other CCIW student-athletes in Nicole Tarpley and Alexis Mattox of Carthage College.

Lowder heads into the NCAA meet as the No. 5 seed after posting a school and conference record time of 46.55 seconds in the men's 400-meter just two weeks ago. Lowder, already a three-time All-American, will race the 400m preliminary round on Friday at 3 p.m. ET with the finals set to run on Saturday at 2:10 p.m. ET.

Crabtree will race the first round of the 3000m steeplechase Thursday at 7:35 p.m. ET with the final set for Friday at 4:55 p.m. It marks the third NCAA track and field appearance for the junior and the first outdoor appearance since Crabtree qualified in the event as a freshman in 2023. Emma Odle from Augustana College will also be in the steeplechase field.

Ogunribido enters the women's triple jump competition as the No. 2 seed after a school and conference record-setting performance of 12.57m (41'3") locked in her qualifying spot at the conference championships. Saturday will mark the fourth NCAA appearance for the sophomore as she is joined by Carthage's Abigail Calhoun as the two CCIW representatives in the event.
