Second straight season she has been voted all-region

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Sophomore Lauren Huber (Lombard, Ill.-Glenbard East) represented the Illinois Wesleyan University women's basketball team on the D3hoops.com All-Region 8 First Team as the publication announced its all-region awards Tuesday, March 14. It is the second straight season in which she has earned all-region status, following third team honors as a freshman.

Huber was a workhorse for the Titans, leading IWU in scoring at 18.7 points per game and rebounding (10.2 rpg). She finished the season ranked second in the CCIW in scoring, and led the league in rebounding. Starting all 27 games for the Green and White, Huber connected on 51.9 percent of her shot attempts, 33.3 percent of her three-point tries, and was 71.5 percent at the charity stripe. She was a four-time College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Player of the Week pick, and was a unanimous First Team All-CCIW selection.

The Titans finished the season with a 16-11 overall record, placing fifth in the CCIW. Illinois Wesleyan's season came to a close in the CCIW Tournament Semifinals.
