Onsrud & Thorman Continue Play at NCAA Women’s Golf Championship

Both sophomores improve on day one scores

HOUSTON, Texas - Play at the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship continued for Illinois Wesleyan University women's golfers Lexi Onsrud (Normal, Ill.-University High) and Emma Thorman (Macomb, Ill.-Macomb) Wednesday, May 11, at the par-72, 5866-yard Bay Oaks Country Club.

Onsrud put together a strong round to propel her up the leaderboard. The Normal, Ill. native carded a three-over 75, to move into a tie for 32nd with a 36-hole total of 153. Thorman shaved 10 strokes off her opening round score, as she finished day two nine-over.

Third round action is scheduled for tomorrow, May 12. Both Onsrud and Thorman will tee off at 1:20 p.m., with Onsrud beginning on hole No. 1 and Thorman teeing off on No. 10. Live scoring will be available via Golfstat by clicking here.
