BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's swimming and diving teams were selected by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as a Scholar All-America Team. This past semester the men and women held GPAs of 3.61 and 3.46, respectively to earn the distinction.

IWU is one out of 728 teams from 450 institutions to earn the honor. The CSCAA awards programs who hold a minimum GPA of 3.0 and those who post a 3.3 GPA or higher become eligible for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.

According to Greg Earhart, the CSCAA Executive Director stated "Coach Fish continues, year-in, year-out to do great things. These 30 men and women are some of the best ambassadors that Illinois Wesleyan and the CCIW could ask for."

This is the fifth time since the 2011-12 season that both the men and women were selected as a Scholar All-American Team in the fall. Additionally, it's the women's sixth time and the men's fifth on the list for the fall semester.

The Titans will honor its five seniors this Saturday at Fort Natatorium. IWU will face Franklin College at 1 p.m.
