NAPERVILLE, Ill. - After an outstanding week of matches Illinois Wesleyan University women's volleyball senior Madi Corey (Frankfort, Ill.-Lincoln-Way East) was named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's Setter of the Week Tuesday night, Oct. 12. It is the second time in her career that she has earned the conference's weekly honor.

Corey was incredible in a 2-1 week for the Titans, Oct. 6-9. She tallied a team-high 64 assists, good for 6.40 per set, while also adding 40 digs, 22 kills, three aces, and a pair of blocks. Corey, who sets in IWU's 6-2 system, was also successful as a hitter throughout the week.

She began the week with a monster triple-double performance in IWU's league victory over North Central. Corey went off for 30 assists, 19 digs, and 12 kills, all of which were season-highs, in the Titans' four-set win. She added a 19-assists, 14-dig double-double in IWU's upset of 23rd-ranked WashU, Oct. 9. Corey added six kills on a .261 attacking percentage against the Bears as well.

Illinois Wesleyan returns to the court tomorrow, Oct. 13, for a CCIW match at Carroll University. First serve is set for 7 p.m. inside Van Male Fieldhouse.
