BOURBONNAIS, Ill. -- The Illinois Wesleyan men's cross country team, led by a 15th place finish from junior Steven Raybould, finished sixth in the 18-team Midwest Intercollegiate Cross Country Championships, hosted by Olivet Nazarene at Aspen Ridge Golf Course in Bourbonnais, Ill., on Friday, Sept. 28.

The Titans had 180 points in the meet as North Central was the winner with 25 points.

Raybould had a time of 26:24.09 as the IWU low finisher across the 8K course. Sophomore Matt Wagner was 33rd in a run of 26:52.82 and freshman Nathan Witte was 35th with his time of 26:53.91.

North Central sophomore Gabriel Pommier was the race winner in 25:47.28.

Illinois Wesleyan will run next in the Wisconsin-Oshkosh Invitational at the Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne, Wis., on Saturday, Oct. 13.
