COLFAX, Wis. -- The Illinois Wesleyan men's cross country team placed 18th in the NCAA Division III Midwest Regionals, hosted by Wis.-Eau Claire at the Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax, Wis., on Saturday, Nov. 10.
The Titans had 555 points and were led by the 59th place finish of sophomore
Matt Wagner in a time of 26:04.8 on the 8,000-meter course. Freshman
Nathan Witte was in 115th place in 27:02.5 and sophomore
Jaeden Danko finished 121st with a time of 27:15.4.
No. 1-nationally ranked North Central College won the school's 30th regional title, finishing with 30 points. Wis.-Lacrosse was second with 74 points. Brad Hodkinson of Washington U. was the winner with a time of 24:31.8 and Zach Lee of Wis.-Platteville was second in 24:35.3.
